Corner Story is committed to your privacy. This policy explains what happens when you use our app.

Types of Data We Collect & Why

1. Advertising (Third-Party)

Our app uses Google AdMob to show advertisements. Google may collect and use identifiers (such as Device ID or IDFA) and usage data to personalize ads and measure their performance.

2. In-App Purchases

If you purchase the "HoodPass" or other items, our payment processor (Apple) collects purchase history and identifiers to manage your subscription and restore your purchases.

3. Gameplay & AI Generation

Our app uses Generative AI to create your story. When you make a choice or interact with the world, your gameplay selections (non-personal) are transmitted to our AI partner (DeepSeek) to generate the next part of your narrative.

4. Safety & Reporting

If you use the "Flag/Report AI Response" feature, the flagged content and an anonymous ID are sent to our servers so we can review and improve our filters.

5. Cloud Services

We use cloud services for anonymous authentication and to store flagged content reports. An anonymous device identifier is created to manage your session. No personal information (name, email) is collected through this service.

What We DO NOT Collect

• **Names, Emails, or Phone Numbers**: We do not ask for or store your contact information.
• **Location**: We do not track your physical location.
• **Photos/Contacts**: We do not access your device's photos, camera, or contact list.

Data Storage

Your character progress and save files are stored locally on your device. Flagged content reports and anonymous session data are stored securely on our servers. If you delete the app, local progress will be lost.
